Scope of Research
Remote Work
With billions of resources available online, so much genealogical research can now be completed remotely. That’s my specialty: remote work. So, the services I offer cover ONLY those that I can complete online, via phone, or through the mail. I do not travel to far away places, nor do I visit local repositories to retrieve records.
While the availability of online genealogical data expands daily, not all records have been digitized, nor are they likely to be anytime soon. Keep in mind that this means I will eventually exhaust the available remote sources for discovering answers for you. When this happens though, I won’t just leave you hanging.
Onsite Recommendations
Every project I complete comes with recommendations for additional research, whether online or onsite.
If there is still more to be discovered online, then I’ll outline the recommendations for additional remote research, whether you choose to have me or another researcher complete that work.
If I have exhausted all available remote resources, then I will provide guidance on where to go next in your search for answers.
Many records still reside in real world repositories. I’ll point you in the right direction if I can, making it easier for you or another researcher to pick up where I’ve left off.
